This fried chicken restaurant is a delicious paradise! Each piece of fried chicken is crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, the heat is just right, the skin is golden and crisp, and the gravy inside is tender and juicy. The seasoning is very delicious, neither too salty, nor will cover up the delicious chicken itself. Whether it is plain or various flavors of spices, the flavor is very unique, and each bite is memorable. The service in the store is also particularly intimate, the staff are warm and friendly, and the environment is clean and comfortable. This is definitely the best fried chicken place I have ever eaten, highly recommend!

THE chicken place to go. You haven't had chicken until you've had their YangYeom. Cheese Snow is a close runner-up for deliciousness. Orders take about 20 minutes but absolutely worth the wait.

my review from 2 years ago isn’t reallly relevant anymore as the owners changed and so did their style of chicken; the pics are old. the old style of chicken was better but the new people behind the management are much friendlier and better at customer service in general. it really pays off being a regular!

As a Korean, I seriously need to eat Yangnyeom chicken regularly—you know what I mean? :) I know Chicko Chicken’s Yangnyeom chicken is actually pretty close to the traditional sweet-style Yangnyeom, but honestly… the quality really depends on each store. That’s why I’m so happy I found this good Chicko location! The staff and owner were super kind, and the chicken tasted SO good I even live near Metrotown, but I honestly don’t mind spending extra time to come to this branch instead of going to others.
